Business Development Manager F/H

 

Within the Sigfox adoption team, the person will be in charge of driving the commercial success of the most promising Sigfox startups, part of the Sigfox Global Star Programs.

 

WIN/WIN MISSIONS:

As our business developer you will identify the most promising startups using the Sigfox services, either based on current traction (activity growth) or potential (market fit, team, product and execution excellence, ..)

 

Acting as a business developer, this individual will:

  • Take over the relation management of the current 30 Global Star companies across the world

  • Challenge the existing strategy based on results/expectations, and define strategy changes when relevant.

  • Identify potential additions to the program, within the pool of Sigfox startup (Rising stars and other starters) as well as opportunities to convert successful startups to Sigfox.

  • Establish close 1:1 relation with each one of these companies as their key contact within the Sigfox ecosystem

  • Closely work with Sigfox internal stakeholders: Sales (including Sigfox Operators), Marketing, Communication, ..

  • Provide tailored updates to the Sales teams (Sigfox+Operators) on a quarterly basis, promoting the more advanced Global Star companies relevant to the key business verticals.

  • Business support :

                              o  Prepare Go To Market plans in order to activate sales with best partners

                              o  Provide support & guidance in fund raising strategies.

  • In relation with the other Adoption team members, maintain accurate reporting of the performance

  • Work with the local team to identify the most strategic partners locally

 

In close relation with the communication and marketing teams:

  • Ensure high visibility of the relevant Globar Star companies in Sigfox events and communication (social media, blog posts, webinars, conferences, ..)

  • Promote Global Star companies solutions to the whole Sigfox audience, with packaged co-marketing packages.

  • Drive the Global Star companies engagement in the Sigfox ecosystem, pushing them to act as ambassadors of the Sigfox services and technologies in their own industry

 

KEY SKILLS & MINDSET:

  • Extremely customer and team oriented.

  • Successful business development experience in a technology industry

  • Great oral & written communication skills

  • Autonomy, ability to identify priorities and act accordingly

  • Result-oriented individual, with an ability to constantly reevaluate action plans in regard to past results and target objectives.

  • Technology (Internet, Hardware, Telecom) understanding, and willingness to learn

  • Knowledge of the Sigfox ecosystem a plus.

  • Fluent English and French, written & oral. Another European language (Spanish, German) a plus.
