Global Inside Sales H/F


Sales & Marketing (S&M) department aims to develop Sigfox connectivity sales, and as such, S&M is accountable for connectivity revenue. As Global Inside Sales, you will be a major contributor to sales initiative effectiveness across the “lead to order process”. Your duties will range from operational sales to sales administration activities.


The role requires effective interaction with both internal and external parties:

  • To have and build up detailed knowledge of the areas of business in which Sales Support is directly involved

  • A broad grasp of issues facing other parts of the business, sufficient to allow informed discussions with others.

  • Build working relationships with our Operators and the internal team dealing with service management, marketing, service delivery, production, finance and legal. assistance, where needed, in any other internal teams in support of sales associated projects/activities.



Responsibilities are split on a percentage basis and you will be expected to manage priorities in particular related to activity during key periods. Proportion will be defined during annual reviews.

  • Serve as internal sales support to Sales teams and Sigfox Operators to achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and goals

  • Handle incoming commercial phone calls and queries

  • Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of all solutions in the SIGFOX portfolio

  • Manage sales funnel development by ensuring all data on Contacts, Accounts and Leads are up to date and telephone/F2F contact with all sales team members and operators


Inside Sales responsibilities :

  • Lead contact and handle incoming commercial phone calls and early opportunity development

  • Perform preliminary lead or opportunity qualification and ensure an optimal lead allocation

  • Manage and review sales funnel of SO when necessary, update CRM accordingly

  • Be the focal point of a Sales Support Desk to support our SO partners regarding queries related to sales

  • Validate Marketing Qualified Leads to Sales Qualified Lead relevancy and efficiency, provide feedback to Marcom for improvements

  • Collaborate with Marcom to design communication and marketing lead generation campaigns


Sales Administration responsibilities :

  • Make sure of the sales process application within S&M and other entities when required

  • Implement, maintain and enforce all of the administrative tools necessary for the team (SharePoint, Outlook lists, validation processes etc), ensure data integrity

  • CRM data integrity

  • Comprehensive communication and (on monthly basis) reporting on sales orders and opportunities – for both quantitative and qualitative figures

  • Assist sales teams with quotes and CRM updates

  • Communicate to sales teams any information that impact “lead to order” and relevant or useful for Sales activities (new process, new template, …)

  • Manage minor change requests on orders (opportunities and sales order coherence)

  • Act as gatekeeper for the clean order process to ensure production can deliver in a timely manner

  • Confirm invoice amounts and timing and follow up on what has been/can be invoiced

  • Apply “lead to order” sales processes and methodologies for all products that are sold by Sigfox Corp completing information where necessary.

  • Order tracking and archiving

  • End of semester order taking and management: optimization of all possibilities

  • Monitor collaborative tool usage and contribute their operational efficiency, including tracking & archiving

  • On board Sales on tools, qualification methodologies and best practices, contribute to the Inside Sales Academy

Performing any other reasonable ad hoc duties for the company as and when required



  • Self-starter with a proven record of success in a sales environment

  • Commercial skills with a high level of attention to detail in written and verbal communications

  • Possess sound commercial judgement and knowledge of sales /buying processes

  • Educated to degree level with excellent interpersonal skills and high level of enthusiasm

  • Results orientated, resourceful, enthusiastic and diligent

  • Highly solution oriented i.e. a proactive problem solver

  • Possess the ability to follow a process and hold others accountable for following processes

  • Ability to stay organized and disciplined, prioritize and communicate with all members of the organization

  • Identify key areas for process improvement and propose new efficient and cost-effective alternatives

  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications

  • Knowledge and experience of CRM applications, eg:. Salesforce and LinkedIn

  • Experience working closely with Sales teams

  • Must be able to work independently, handle multiple projects to completion in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively at an advanced level

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills that leverage information for decision-making

  • Consistently thinks out of the box and brings new ideas to the team
